The Ars Goetia are a dynasty of noble angels and demons who govern over Hellborn demons and serve as the prophets, messengers and observers of the mortal plane for Lucifer Magne and the guardians of Hell. Most Goetia are descendants of Paimon, a fallen angel and the father of the 72 Goetia demons.
The Goetia represent the upper echelon of ranking within Hell's social hierarchy, outranking non-royal Hellborn and all sinners, including the Overlords. They are considered the third most powerful and influential family in all of Hell, behind the Von Eldritch and Magne families.
Description
The Ars Goetia constitutes a noble assembly of demonic beings esteemed as Lucifer Magne's most prized aides and heralds. Their primary objective involves upholding the equilibrium of the seven rings while vigilantly safeguarding the mortal realm, notably Earth. They diligently study the heavens, society, and prophecies of this mortal domain, amassing valuable insights for the betterment of the King of Hell. Their penchant for intervening in human affairs is evident in instances like Stolas' directive to I.M.P, resulting in the assassination of a politician to exacerbate Earth's global warming issue.
Additionally, the Goetia demons oversee their own legions of lesser Hellborn, with the Stolas Clan commanding imps as their distinctive domain.
The Goetia lineage places paramount importance on status and the perpetuation of their heritage. Within this familial framework, elitism reigns, and the role of heirs becomes a critical aspect of maintaining their authority and eminence. The acquisition of successors among the Goetia demons takes various forms, encompassing arranged unions and even instances of incestuous relationships. Their commitment to adhering rigorously to Hell's hierarchical structure is unwavering, resulting in significant disgrace for any Goetia demon who engages romantically or intimately with a demon from a lower caste.
Similar to the categorization of sinners, Goetic demons adhere to a distinct class structure that dictates their responsibilities and commands their legions. This hierarchy comprises various tiers, notably Kings, Dukes, Princes, Marquises, Earls, Knights, and Presidents. The Goetia population is chiefly divided into two primary classes: the 72 Pillars and the Lesser Keys. Within these divisions, the 72 Pillars encompass figures such as Paimon and his progeny, wielding heightened power and influence compared to the Lesser Keys. Despite their lower rank, the Lesser Keys still hold a royal standing within this framework.
Utilizing mystical tomes known as grimoires, Goetia demons possess the ability to observe and traverse to Earth. Through this means, they engage in the corruption of humanity, alluring individuals with promises of power, knowledge, and boundless riches in exchange for their very souls. This malevolent pact ensures that, over time, these souls will become the property of Lucifer. Among the higher echelons of the Goetia hierarchy, certain members have the capacity to dispatch selected demons to Earth, tasking them with nefarious deeds on their behalf. Noteworthy instances include Asmodeus equipping Verosika Mayday and various succubi/incubi with Asmodean crystals, enabling their journey to Earth for the dissemination of lust and moral decay. Stolas has also illicitly bestowed his grimoire upon the assassination enterprise, I.M.P, empowering them to eliminate human targets.

Trivia
- They are based on the 72 demons of the same name from The Lesser Key of Soloman.
- All Goetia demons live in palaces that are enchanted in a way that they all physically appear in the seven rings simultaneously. The occupying Goetia demons are capable of teleporting the interior of their castle to one of the seven rings at a time using magic to answer visitors or travel to other rings.
- The Ars Goetia are extremely strict when it comes to following Hell's hierarchy, moreso than any caste within said hierarchy, including the Seven Deadly Sins. This explains why Stolas dating Blitzø is met mostly with shame and ridicule, whereas demons seem to be mostly indifferent to Asmodeus - a Ringleader - dating Fizzarolli.
- Their Heaven-based counterparts are the Seraphim family.
