Bruce is a minor antagonist in Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light.
He was a loan shark demon and Kingpin who served as the boss of a shark mafia family in Pentagram City and one of supporters of Crimson. He was one of Valentino's business partners, until the moth demon's habit of not personally attending their dealings led him to betray the moth demon by attempting to take his money and kill one of Valentino's workers, Angel Dust, which ultimately backfired on him and Valentino shooting him in the head with a holy revolver

Events of Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light[]
Chapter 1[]
In "Dirty Healings", Angel Dust arrives to Bruce and Valentino's drug deal on behalf of the latter. Bruce becomes indignant as he realizes Valentino was not coming, asking why the Overlord would send a "lanky filly" to do his business, to which Angel replied that the pimp did not have time to deal with a "shitty C-list mobster". The moment Angel pulls out a briefcase full of Valentino's money, Bruce and his gang quickly turn the tables on Angel, with the sharks drawing their guns on him. Angel is unimpressed by their betrayal, and Bruce tells Angel that he will be taking Valentino's money and might let him live if he cooperates. Just before Bruce could taunt Angel with a homophobic slur, Angel suddenly took out every one of Bruce's men, and injured Bruce himself, with a plethora of weapons in just a second. With the mafia wiped out, Angel held a pistol to Bruce's head and mockingly asked him if he wanted to finish his sentence. Just before Angel could finalize his deal with Bruce, Valentino arrived the location in his limo and shot Bruce through the head with his holy revolver, erasing him.
Personality[]
Bruce was a thuggish, run-of-the-mill gangster who was very insistent on his associates personally tending his dealings with them. He was greedy and traitorous as he turned on Valentino for his failure to attend their deals, and attempted to kill Angel Dust just to obtain Valentino's money. He was also very homophobic, insulted Angel's flamboyant attitude and fashion style by calling him a "lanky filly", and was seconds away from calling him a slur until Angel cut him off by wiping out his entire gang.
Trivia[]
- He is named after the great white shark from the 1975 film, Jaws. In said film, the shark has no given name, but the shark models used in the film were all named "Bruce".
