- "Hey, so, yeah, sorry guys, but we're here to announce an official request from the Heavenly Court that you all pretty please stop protesting the highly important Exterminations. Yeaaah, sorry, we and Archangel Azrael view every single one of you as family and appreciate all of you bringing your concerns to us, but all of this disorder and rebellion ain't the way to go, 'kay? If you have any problems, you can schedule an appointment with our dear Rachel. So, sorry, but... Yeahhhhh. 'Kay, thanks, byyyyye... (she floats away and waves to the protesters for a few seconds before turning and whispering to Rachel, Honey and Beau) Identify them and have 'em sent to the Inferno."

- — Deerie's catchphrase.
Deerie is a recurring character in Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light.
She is a mentioned character in Chapter 4 and a recurring character in Chapter 5.
She is a deer cherub with a high standing within Heaven, standing as the supervisor of the C.H.E.R.U.B, and the secretary of the ruler of Heaven, Azrael. She is part of a division in Heaven tasked with expelling and banishing any rule-breakers or dissenters.
Personality[]
Deerie, like many angels, is cheerful, upbeat, and optimistic, as well as very analytical. However, her kind and sugary exterior is only skin-deep. Though it seems that she only exiles angels from Heaven out of obligation, her overall cocky attitude and constant smile strongly implies that she is very amused by the sadness and despair of those she banishes and gets a kick out of it. She is also utterly merciless while banishing angels, not giving any exiled angel a chance to even explain themselves, and rubbing in their faces the fact that they will never be allowed back in Heaven again.
She has a sugary "mean girl" attitude towards the other angels of Heaven, only behaving politely to her higher-ups and friend group while acting snobbish and disdainful towards other angels, gaslighting and manipulating free-thinkers into complacency. She has all the facades of corporate manipulation, sounding angelic and generous and complimenting people at every given chance even though it is clear she couldn't care less about them, being horrible to the point of cruelty and yet well-coached in politeness that it stays somewhat believable.
She speaks in a very sugary, condescending tone and has a repetitive speech pattern peppered with insincere and sarcastic apologetic words.
She appears to retain the love for humanity angels usually possess, as she does not tolerate or forgive any angel for killing humans, whether it be accidental or not. Though, this could very well just be her upholding the rules that have been established in Heaven.
