Earth is a planet inhabited by humans various other forms of life such as animals. It is where humans live before they die and are reborn in either Heaven or Hell.
History[]
Earth was created by God and Asherah after the former laid the foundations of the Universe. God would then create Eden, a paradisiacal sanctuary for Adam, the very first man, from the dust of the earth. Earth was abundant with diverse wildlife and fertile land, practically providing for Adam's needs. Every living thing on Earth from the animals to the plantlife was kept alive by Asherah, who took on the role of the Tree of Life. Adam's initial days were spent naming the creatures and enjoying the bounties of the garden. Soon, God then created Eve as Adam's equal and companion.
Adam and Eve lived on Earth for decades if not centuries, with God envisioning the possibility of a place where his creations could live unbothered by Forbidden Knowledge. However, this peace was shattered when Eve's curiosity led her to the forbidden Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which spoke to her and offered her the fruit that would grant her free will and independent thought. Succumbing to temptation, Eve ate the Forbidden Fruit, triggering a chain of events that brought Forbidden Knowledge such as sin and evil into the world.
The consequences were profound: Earth became a fallen and cursed world, tainted by sin. The Forbidden Fruit's effects prevented Asherah from bestowing eternal life to everything, ensuring that all living things would soon know death. Eve's mind birthed an inner demon, Lilith, who took control of her. When Lilith shared the fruit with Adam, both gained self-awareness, experiencing negative emotions such as lust, fear, and shame.
As punishment for their disobedience, Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden and condemned to live on the cursed Earth, severed from their former blissful existence and had to live a hard and utterly miserable life on Earth's unforgiving lands.
Over the millennia, humanity progressed, advancing their societies and technology, ultimately shaping a civilization driven by remarkable achievements. Yet, despite the passage of billions of years, the stain of evil and sin endures within Earth and its populace. Humanity remained a species fraught with conflict, perpetually divided and unable to find unanimity. Only through the divine intervention of angels, responding to the fervent prayers of humanity, could human civilization flourish without succumbing to self-destruction.
Events of Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light[]
Chapter 5[]
In the Chapter 5 finale "Exeunt Omnes", the entirety of the surviving Hazbin Hotel Crew and I.M.P members (with the exception of Millie and Moxxie) are forced to use an Asmodean Crystal to abandon Hell when Roo is unleashed upon the infernal realm. The portal opened to Earth barely closes before Roo's roots try to claw their way into it. The hotel crew and I.M.P are left alone and lost in an unknown location within Earth, reeling from everything that had happened and Hell's potential destruction.

Earth's terrain is comprised mostly of oceans and landmasses.
It is possible for demons to access Earth, although the only known means of doing so is using a grimoire or an Asmodean Crystal. Many demons, notably the Ars Goetia, often travel to Earth to tempt and corrupt humans into selling their souls in exchange for power. Some demons, such as I.M.P and Verosika Mayday, are granted access to Earth by higher demons to kill or induce sinful behavior in humans. Other times, demons are outright summoned to Earth by a human who discovered a means to do so, wherein they will attempt to corrupt their summoner under the false pretense of helping them. That said, Earth is under the protection of Heaven, who sends a force of cherubs known as the C.H.E.R.U.B to protect or redeem human souls. Additionally, Angels can perform miracles on Earth through the power of prayers sent to the Kingdom of Heaven by humans, and these prayers are crucial to ensuring the planet's stability.
In Hell, it is illegal for a demon to permanently live on Earth, as they could risk getting spotted by humans or get Hell's higher-ups in trouble with Heaven's authorities. In addition, if a demon travels to Earth for their nefarious plans, is spotted by humans, and leaves witnesses or causes massive unrest that could attract national attention, they could be severely punished with extreme prejudice, as shown by Beelzebub punishing Verosika Mayday by fitting her with a chastity belt after she inadvertently unleashed a fish monster on a human beach, or Lucifer sending I.M.P on a suicide mission for being caught on surveillance footage, under the threat of sending them to prison and executing Stolas for aiding them. Although, it is unknown if this law remains intact following Hell's potential destruction at Roo' hands, forcing the entirety of the surviving Hazbin Hotel Crew and I.M.P members (with the exception of Millie and Moxxie) to leave Hell and live on Earth for an unknown period of time.

- The reason why it is illegal in Hell for demons to be seen by humans is because if the existence of Hell was proven on Earth, it would likely deter humans from sinning, leading to Heaven gaining more souls and thus Lucifer being robbed of the human souls that he wants power over.

- Assuming that Hell and Earth have the same time flow, Earth's current year would be somewhere in the 2050s-2060s.
