Like, TRULY got 'im, y'know? [...] I wish I could have done more for Angel to make him feel accepted, but there's only so much you can do against a family like that. That's why people in the hotel are like his family now. They aren't quite blood, but they're close enough, y'know? ...He's betta off with them than he eva was with us."

Biography
Background
Molly was born on April 1st into a crime family to notorious mob boss, Henry and his wife, Annie. She was born on the same date and roughly the same time as her paternal twin brother, Anthony. She was the only child of Henry who he did not raise to be a mobster, partly because he wanted to keep her safe, and partly because he did not think she, as a woman, would ever have what it took to be a mobster. Molly was the cherished and beloved child of the family, and her parents would spoil her with money and trips to carnivals. Despite her parents' pampering, Molly was a very passionate and bright child to have around. She grew to be an excellent tailor and makeup artist, eventually owning her own boutique when she was 24, which her father bought her as a birthday present.
Molly was very close to her twin brother, Anthony, though her relationship with her older brother, Salvatore, was less than ideal. At some point, Anthony came out to Molly, making her the only person on Earth who knew of this. Molly responded by immediately and happily accepting him, promising to not tell a soul. Their relationship strengthened even more after this, with Molly inviting Anthony to her boutique after hours so she could do his makeup and let him use the clothes she had made for him.
As the years went on, Molly and Anthony grew somewhat distant as Henry made Anthony a full-time underboss of his mafia, and Salvatore forbid Anthony from being around Molly too much, fearing her feminine traits would rub off on him. Anthony became increasingly addicted to the drug PCP, using it to cope with being around his father and brother. When Molly noticed Anthony's struggles with the drug, she would try to help him, but Anthony was no longer himself, which scared and deeply saddened Molly. When Anthony eventually died alone of a PCP overdose, Molly was the one who discovered his body since she was the only one who cared to check on him.
Molly's life came to an end when she was kidnapped and brutally murdered by a gang that her father had been feuding with for decades. Her death left Henry irreversibly heartbroken and riddled with guilt, and led to Annie dying of a grief-induced stroke as the pain of losing her and Anthony became too much. Molly was reborn in Heaven for her boundless kindness and positive attitude that brightened the lives of everyone around her.
Events of Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light
Chapter 5
In "Over the Moon in Ecstasy", Molly explosively enters Hell to find Angel, which attracts the attention of Charlie and Alastor. The spider jumpscares Charlie, excitedly greeting her and asking where Angel was, telling the princess that she was his sister. She then greeted Alastor - having known him from Angel's prayers - and calls him "hot" before asking if his cane was a giant dildo, to which Alastor dryly commented that she certainly was Angel's sibling. Molly, and he becomes instantly awestruck and speechless when he sees her. The two siblings reunited in a tearful, joyful reunion and hug while Molly commented that she found him by following the scent of the perfume they would both use in life.
Personality
- "Arackniss: Do you think Molly got out?
Angel Dust: I know so, bro. She might be a bedazzled princess, but she's a badass bedazzled princess... And, well... she's a good girl, and a damn good sista.
Arackniss: Heh... Yeah, the best." - — Arackniss and Angel Dust about Molly.
Molly embodies kindness and charm, radiating an unwavering, positive aura that uplifts those around her. She holds a special place in Angel's heart, as he confided in her about his homosexuality, finding comfort and acceptance in her presence. Known for her vivacious and exuberant nature, Molly appears to be an eternal wellspring of energy, though her boundless enthusiasm can occasionally border on the overwhelming. At her core, she's a mischievous trickster, finding joy in playing pranks and teasing people, and her influence is the driving force behind Angel's own penchant for mischief. Molly shares a provocative sense of humor with her brother, Angel. She takes pleasure in cracking sex jokes that often leave others feeling uneasy. Additionally, Molly possesses a flirtatious nature, much like Angel, and doesn't hesitate to make playful advances, whether directed at Husk or Alastor, adding a touch of cheeky charm to her interactions.
Moreover, Molly wholeheartedly supported her brother's aspirations, allowing him to explore his drag fantasies by sharing her private collection of clothing. In times when their father, Henroin, subjected Angel to disparaging remarks, Molly provided solace and reassurance, becoming a steadfast source of emotional support in his life.
Beneath her playful exterior, Molly possesses a surprisingly mature sense of fashion and a deep commitment to the art of design. She approaches her creative endeavors with a seriousness that belies her silliness. Proficient in sewing, bedazzling, knitting, and various forms of arts and crafts, Molly's crafting skills are truly unmatched. Her passion for the craft goes beyond personal enjoyment, as she eagerly shares her expertise and dispenses advice to anyone who crosses her path, whether they requested it or not.
Molly's exceptional kindness and virtuous nature earned her the unique privilege of gaining entry into Heaven upon her passing. However, this bittersweet distinction placed a considerable emotional burden on Angel. While he took solace in her heavenly presence, it also meant he was separated from her, left to contend with the less accepting attitudes of Arackniss and Henroin, both of whom held strong reservations about Angel's sexuality. Despite her warm and friendly demeanor, Molly possesses a fiercely protective side when it comes to her family. She's not afraid to stand up and throw hands with anyone who harms or threatens her loved ones, ready to defend her family members with unwavering determination.
Molly bears the heavy weight of self-guilt, haunted by the belief that her preoccupation with her seemingly perfect life prevented her from offering Anthony the support he needed during his moments of struggle. She carries a profound sense of responsibility for his tragic drug overdose, convinced that she should have done more to assist him. This guilt becomes an all-consuming force, threatening to overwhelm her. Tragically, this inner turmoil was ruthlessly exploited by Valentine, a manipulative, shapeshifting figure who capitalizes on Molly's regret. Valentine cunningly seeks to convince Molly to commit suicide with a blessed rope and end her afterlife, preying on her vulnerabilities and exploiting her feelings of guilt.

Relationships
Family
Henroin
- "My daddy's... Complicated. He's a very traditionalist kinda guy, y'know? He's a terrible man who did horrible things ta some good people. He loves power, wealth, and control, and doesn't care which poor bastard's life he has ta destroy to geddit. And ta top it off, he manipulated and used all of us, his own family, his associates, and othas to gain it until he was the last of us to be six feet above. (tearing up) I'll always love 'im fer the nice things he did fer me, fer all of us, but his hate and greed destroyed our lives, and we'd all just be betta off without 'im."
- — Molly about Henroin.
Henroin, Molly's father, had a vastly different relationship with her compared to his sons. He held a deep and genuine affection for Molly, which set her apart from her brothers. Unlike his male children, Henroin made a deliberate choice not to groom Molly into a mobster. He did so partly to protect her from the dangerous world he inhabited and partly because he believed that, as a woman, she lacked the qualities required for mob life. Molly occupied a special place in her family's heart, cherished and beloved by her parents. They showered her with lavish gifts, including money and trips to carnivals, reflecting the depth of their adoration and their commitment to ensuring her safety and happiness.
Molly's views of Henroin are complicated, conflicted, and complex; She acknowledges his traditionalist nature but condemns his terrible deeds against good people, driven by an insatiable desire for power, wealth, and control. She does not shy away from the fact that Henroin's ruthless pursuit of his ambitions spared no one, including his own family, associates, and others who crossed his path. Though she still loves him for the kind moments he shared with them, Molly recognizes that his hatred and greed ultimately wreaked havoc on their lives, leaving them all in a better place without him.
Angel Dust
Angel Dust and Molly share a unique bond as twin siblings. Growing up, they were inseparable and notorious for their mischievous "twin pranks," often targeting unsuspecting individuals and even playfully teasing Arackniss. Molly held a special place in Angel's heart as the only family member who wholeheartedly supported his homosexuality. During his life, she was the sole confidante privy to Angel's sexual orientation, and she went to great lengths to nurture his drag fantasies, allowing him to don her clothing in private while promising to keep his secret from their brother and father.
In the present, Angel carries a profound sense of longing for Molly, deeply missing her presence in his life. He's confessed to experiencing dreams about her during his time in Hell, underscoring the enduring connection they share. Molly's presence in Heaven serves as a powerful motivator for Angel to embark on a journey of personal reform, driven by the hope that he can one day reunite with her, a poignant testament to the enduring strength of their sibling bond.
When Molly made a visit to Hell, her presence had a profound impact on Angel, reducing him to tears as he profusely apologized for how his death had affected her. However, Molly's forgiving nature shone through, and she quickly reassured him, expressing her understanding and unconditional love. The inseparable siblings seized the opportunity to catch up on the lost time, sharing stories of their experiences in the afterlife and amusing themselves by playing pranks on the other members of the hotel crew.
During a styling session with Vaggie, Molly revealed a touching detail: Angel Dust would pray to her when he felt overwhelming loneliness, underscoring just how deeply he had missed her in her absence.
However, their joyous reunion took a somber turn when Molly discovered that Angel had been ensnared in prostitution by the nefarious Valentino for 70 years, who had began using Angel's soul contract to torture him into returning to the moth's clutches. Her fury was uncontainable, and she even confronted the Overlord himself, demanding Angel's immediate release. In a shocking turn of events, when Valentino proposed a deal, offering Angel's freedom in exchange for Molly's enslavement, Molly seemed willing to consider it, showcasing her unwavering dedication to her brother's well-being, even if it meant sacrificing her own freedom and happiness.
Arackniss
Arackniss is Molly's brother. Molly and Arackniss share a strained and negative relationship. Arackniss harbors a strong disapproval of Molly, primarily due to her feminine traits and exuberant, energetic nature, which clash with his own demeanor. Conversely, Molly finds fault in her brother's humorless attitude and the way he treats Angel Dust, deepening their discord.
During their time together in the living world, Molly took delight in pranking and teasing Arackniss, much to his annoyance and frustration. This playful antagonism further exacerbated the tension between them, highlighting the stark contrast in their personalities and values, ultimately leading to a strained sibling dynamic.

Vaggie: He would... Pray to you? And that actually works...?

Vaggie: Huh. Angel doesn't strike me as the... Praying type.
