- "I'll have you know, I've spent years mastering the art of slip-resistant dancing, you uncultured swine! Just ask the ladies who tried to steal Mr. Unmei away from me..."
- — Niffty to Husk, bragging about murdering her love rivals.
Mr. Unmei is a mentioned character in Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light.
He was a wealthy Japanese businessman whom Niffty worked for in life. Niffty was obsessed with him and murdered many of his lovers and her fellow maids to have him all to herself.
History[]
Not much is known about Mr. Unmei besides off-hand comments made by Niffty, who worked for him as a maid and desired his affection. He was a wealthy man from Osaka, Japan, and was involved in relationships with many women. Niffty would kill his lovers by pushing them down freshly cleaned stairs to their deaths, as well as in other more graphic and brutal ways.
It is occasionally implied that he was abusive to Niffty and exploited her young age and mental illness for his own gain, something Niffty greatly misses him doing.
Personality[]
Based on Niffty's preference of "bad boys", it can be assumed that Mr. Unmei was likely not a very kind man and could have been abusive and womanizing. It is also hinted at that he had multiple lovers as well as a wife, making him guilty of adultery.
Niffty has also said that he is similar to Baxter in many ways.
Despite these defects, Niffty mentions having seen “How he treated those women like spoiled puppies,” so it can be assumed that he showered his lovers and wife with luxuries and comforts.
Trivia[]
