Overlords constitute a formidable category of demons and sinners renowned for their power and mastery over divisions, intermediaries, and niche factions within the Pride Ring. They epitomize the middle echelons of Hell's social order, holding a status superior to that of Kingpins but subordinate to the formidable Ars Goetia in terms of their might and sway.
Descriptions
The Overlords are individuals, whether sinners or demons, who have amassed substantial power through various means, such as post-rebirth transformation, intricate bargains, or honing their innate demonic abilities. They've employed this formidable might to seize dominion over specific sectors or facets of the Pride Ring, effectively assuming roles akin to politicians in Hell. These Overlords oversee various enterprises, legions, or criminal enterprises within their territories. However, some Overlords extend their dominion to encompass entire realms within the Pride Ring. For instance, figures like Vox have attained control over all the television stations in Pride, while Stellar presides over the majority of music production and ownership within the Pride Ring.
Furthermore, certain Overlords exert influence over distinct subcultures. Examples include Rosie and Missi Zilla, who respectively govern the cannibalistic and kaiju populations within Pride. While a substantial number of Overlords are sinners reborn with extraordinary power, a select few Hellborn demons have managed to ascend to these prestigious ranks through their remarkable achievements and the accumulation of significant power.
Despite sharing a comparable social status and a somewhat analogous hierarchy, most Overlords typically eschew close affiliations with one another. While occasional begrudging respect may surface when their paths intersect, it's more common to witness Overlords engaged in fierce conflicts with one another, vying for supremacy over armies and territories. A prime exemplification of this rivalry can be observed in the vehement enmity between Vox and Alastor. The propensity for Overlords to engage in territorial disputes and power struggles discourages the consolidation of their forces and resources.
Nevertheless, there exist exceptions to this pattern. A handful of Overlords, such as the formidable alliance of the Vees and the steadfast partnership of Sock and Buskin, have successfully forged enduring collaborations. These unique unions have cemented their positions as formidable entities, commanding respect and fear within the Pride Ring's intricate hierarchy.
The bulk of Pride's Overlords have sworn allegiance to Lucifer Magne, King of Hell. In fact, a substantial number of Hellborn Overlords achieved their staggering abilities by striking Faustian bargains, relinquishing their souls in exchange for unparalleled power from the Hellish monarch. Simultaneously, many Overlords harbor profound trepidation toward the King of Hell, well aware of his formidable might and formidable cache of angelic weaponry capable of permanently obliterating them. Despite their fear, and in certain instances, outright antipathy, many Overlords are adept at adopting a facade of cordiality and feigned "friendliness" when in Lucifer's presence.
Periodically, the most influential Overlords are invited to Lucifer's fortress every Halloween night to commemorate their nefarious deeds and transgressions. Nevertheless, beneath this semblance of camaraderie, Lucifer perceives the Overlords primarily as expendable instruments, tools he can employ to reinforce his dominance and uphold his established reign of power. The Overlords, to a degree, grasp this unsettling truth. Any Overlord who falls out of favor with the King of Hell or poses a threat to his position often finds themselves targeted for elimination. In these instances, Lucifer dispatches his loyal Overlord allies to carry out assassinations, with the promise of rewarding them with the vanquished Overlord's territory as an incentive.

Trivia
- The Overlords have their own hierarchy of power, which goes as follows:
- Top Tier: Carmilla Carmine, Missi Zilla, and Vox.
- Middle Tier: Sock and Buskin, Alastor and Stellar.
- Bottom Tier: Rosie, Valentino and Velvette.
- Their equivalents in Heaven's hierarchy are Saints.
- The Pride Ring is the only ring that is known to have Overlords because Lucifer allows them to run free as a way to serve as his proxy rulers and maintain his status quo of power.
- Lucifer holds an annual soirée every Halloween night in which he invites many Overlords to celebrate their crimes and misdeeds.
- Alastor is a unique kind of Overlord in that he has no actual interest in power, since he primarily seeks entertainment. He also does not appear to own any land in the Pride Ring (besides co-running the Hazbin Hotel with Charlie Magne), and he does not usually bother getting involved in the politics, squabbles, and business dealings that Overlords are usually involved in. Regardless, he is still considered an Overlord by technicality.
- Lucifer sometimes intentionally stirs conflicts between Overlords, often without their knowledge, to entertain himself and keep them vying for his favor.
- Husk, Niffty, Beelzebub, and Death all appear in Vaggie's flashback of Alastor and the Overlords, despite none of them being actual Overlords.
- Most of the Overlords appear to represent/rule over a form of media or entertainment, with Alastor being radio, Vox being television, Valentino being adult entertainment, Velvette being social media, Sock and Buskin being musical theater, and Stellar being music.
