The Pentagram City Police Department, also known as the PCPD, are a minor antagonistic faction in Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light. They serve as a minor antagonistic faction in Chapter 1.
They are the primary law enforcement agency of the city of Pentagram City, and are responsible for keeping what little peace there is. Although they claim that they exist to protect and serve the denizens of Pentagram City, their true purpose is to enforce the corrupt laws of Hell's Overlords as well as the King of Hell, Lucifer Magne, and are well known for their brutal methods of doing so, including arresting or killing rival gangs in exchange for money, supplying Overlords and their underlings with drugs and weaponry, arresting anyone who opposes the rule of Hell's corrupt leaders, murdering suspects, and arresting people without reason or on trumped up charges.
Description[]
The PCPD are well known to be very corrupt, violent, and oppressive with police brutality and bribery being very common, such as two officers beating a defenseless imp with their batons for "standing around and doing nothing". It is also implied that the PCPD are systematically racist, due to their frequent violence towards imps, and it is implied by Angel Dust that they regularly have sex with prostitutes given to them by Valentino.

Events of Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light[]
Chapter 1[]
In "Red Smoke", Cherri Bomb drops by Angel Dust at the Hazbin Hotel, where she claims she just escaped from the PCPD, who she theorizes were hired to kill her by Valentino. Angel Dust shows concern for Cherri as he takes notice of a bullet wound on her arm, but she confidently says that she'll heal from it in no time.
In "Everything Goes Just Fine", the Pentagram City Police investigate a commotion caused by Angel Dust and Fergus, who the former just recently met, at the local bar, The Black Horse Tavern. After meeting each other and having a few shots, Angel and Fergus became inebriated and start causing a ruckus in the pub, including starting a fight and breaking property, which eventually escalated into a riot in the bar. Law enforcement arrives to defuse the situation, and begin violently detaining the rowdy sinners within. Fergus and Angel, still under the influence, hastily attempt to escape unseen out the back door, but are instantly spotted by the police. Angel is tackled and arrested, as Fergus attempts to flee the scene, before running straight into a wall and getting arrested as well. In the morning, Angel and Fergus wake up jailed in the PCPD, where they have been charged with attempted murder and inciting a riot. However, the guard watching them lasciviously offers to let them leave if Angel pays him "in kind". Angel refuses to give the guard his services and warns the guard of what Valentino would do to him if the moth discovered that the PCPD have detained one of his highest-earning workers. With no other choice, the guard bitterly allows the two to leave.

- According to their badges, the PCPD were founded in 1765.
- Cherri Bomb and Angel Dust were once both arrested for bombing one of the PCPD's stations. Angel Dust was almost immediately released due to being one of Valentino's highest-earning workers at the time, while Cherri Bomb used smuggled explosives to escape.
