Raven is a minor character in Hazbin Hotel: Journey to The Light.
She was a demanding and obsessively controlling Exorcist who served as the operations manager of the angelic army.

Raven was a strict, controlling, no-nonsense taskmaster who is a little too married to her duties and struggled with empathy and patience. This was shown when she quickly dumped a lengthy series of detailed and demanding tasks to Ebony with no consideration for her ability to process all the information at once and not bothering to go over said information again. She was also easily frustrated and impatient, especially when others do not immediately meet her expectations, as shown when she got annoyed at Ebony's perplexed reaction to her rapid instructions. Later, she bluntly told Ebony to shut up when she suggested singing to distract their unit's opposition, showing a disregard to the input of lower-ranking soldiers. Furthermore, she gives lower-raking soldiers shit over the slightest mishaps and threatens to have them court-marshalled if they mess up again.
Raven showed a grim, philosophical and contemplative side and was deeply fascinated of the grave responsibilities and consequences of being an Exorcist. She reflects on the profound impact of exterminating sinners, something many Exorcists tend to not think about.
Overall, Raven lacked empathy and was unconcerned with the struggles of her subordinates. Additionally, one of her orders to Ebony was that if one of the Exorcist's horses lost their rider, Ebony was to retrieve any weapons from the horses saddle while leaving the horse behind, further showing her disregard towards life but high regard for the Exorcist corps continued success.

Ebony and Raven were teamed up in an ill-fated unit to retrieve angelic weapons. Raven expected Ebony to have strict adherence to her orders. She provided Ebony with highly detailed, lengthy and demanding instructions on how to care for the Exorcists' mounts and what to do if they or the riders were to perish, even though she isn't an experienced horse caretaker.
Raven seemed easily annoyed by Ebony's forgetfulness. She didn't understand why Ebony struggled to immediately grasp extremely complex instructions and was annoyance at Ebony’s short attention span and reactions. She was more focused on the tasks at hand and less on Ebony's ability to process her demands.

Ebony: (she is speaking to the Heavenly Horses until she looks over her shoulder at Raven) Oh! Coming! (she runs over, saluting)
Raven: D- Don't do that unless to a superior officer...
Sable: (she smiles at Ebony) It's good to meet you soldier. Name's Sable. (she extends her hand for a handshake)
Ebony: (she gasps, whispering) a nice one.
Sable: Excuse me?
Ebony: Oh! S- sorry. Most of the other girls are just like 'Ebony, are you listening to me? Ebony! Did I say you could look in my general direction?!' Y'know. (she blows a raspberry and waves her hand) It's fine, though. It's okay, I guess... I- I'm used to it.
Sable: (she chuckles, lowering her hand despite Ebony not shaking it) Well, I know a thing or two about being looked down on.
Raven: (she suddenly drops a bag of horse care supplies into Ebony's arms; reading off her orders in a fast-paced manner) Alrighty, we need you to make sure the horses are well-fed, ensure the stirrups are in good condition, the saddles are properly fitted, make sure their hides are clean - matted fur reads to infection as you know -, give them adequate exercise and don't allow them to run off, groom their hooves every three hours without fail. Your work hours are 03:00 to 22:00. You were granted three first-aid kits from Destiny. Use them well for the preservation of our unit. If a rider perishes, leave the mount behind. If both the rider and their mount perishes, retrieve any holy weapons from the fallen, no matter the cost. Understood? (she and Sable both look at Ebony, who has a perplexed- swirly-eyed face) ... (to Sable) You see this shit?
Sable: (she sighs) I know...
Raven: (frustrated) What is that? Why does she do that?
Sable: (she puts her hands up) Just- Just... you can't drop all that crap on her at once. Or anyone, for that matter. Give her a chance to acclimate. (she looks over at Ebony, smiling) Uh, wanna go over your schedule and duties together, soldier?
Ebony: (she snaps out of it, shaking off the confusion) Oh, sure! ...Uh, I'm sorry, what was your name again?" - — Ebony, Sable, and Raven.
- "Raven: When we exterminate a sinner, their soul is gone forever. Snuffed out... Left adrift in another plane where only their thoughts can provide them with any extent of comfort. Sometimes... I just think we, as Exorcists, don't truly acknowledge grasp the power we hold over the lives of our quarry... (she slowly looks up at Ebony, who is watching the sky) ...Ebony? ...Did you hear me?
Ebony: (she does a double-take) Whuh? Who now?" - — Raven and Ebony while around a campfire.
- "Ebony: (while she and her squad are peering over at demons from the bushes) Hey, guys. I have an idea...
