The Seraphim family are a high-ranking royal family comprised of seraphs who reside within Heaven.
They are an extremely powerful and influential family that have a form of command over Heaven's Angels and act as God's choir and closest servants. They are the third highest social class in Heaven, ranked just lower than the Speaker of God and the Seven Heavenly Virtues. In terms of power and influence, they are below the Morningstar family (Archangels), being mostly subservient to its members.
Description[]
The Seraphim family are a vital royal family held in high regard by God, serving as some of His most trusted angels and advisors. Their responsibilities involve maintaining the records of every soul dwelling in Heaven, Earth, and Hell. They are also responsible for carrying out God's divine will, such as performing divine destructions, salvations, and assisting the Speaker of God, who they work directly under.
They also serve as God's choir, singing hymns designed to lift sprits, promote virtues, and inspire hope to the denizens of Heaven. Seraphs are universally known for their supernaturally gifted singing voices, with the eldest daughter, Sera, being renowned for having the most enchanting singing voice in all of Heaven.
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Angelic Power: The Seraphim are gifted with immense angelic power, that enables them to even, temporarily, hold their own against the Archangels. Furthermore they are immune to demonic attacks by lower entities, as Serenity was completely unaffected when Vark attempted to maul her. More impressive, is that they are above the daughter of Lucifer, Charlie Magne, however Charlie does have the potential to surpass them. This angelic power does have its limits, as they are still significantly weaker than the Archangels, evidenced by Sera taking Archangel Azrael's threats to brutally murder her entire family seriously.
Trivia[]
- Seraphs are described as fiery angels who surround God on His throne, worshipping Him and carrying out His divine destructions. In recent years, Seraphim angels have become widely known for their ethereal and borderline unnerving appearances, often being portrayed as six wings with eyes across the wingspan.
- Their Hell-based counterparts would be the Ars Goetia.
- All members of the family have names that start with "ser", a play on the word "seraphim".
