Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light Fanon Wiki

The Resistance are a recurring faction in Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light.

They were an army of sinners based in the Pride Ring with the mission of bringing down Hell's corrupt authority figures such as the Overlords and the Pentagram City Police Department. The army was founded and ran by Cherri Bomb, and they ran their own town in the Pride Ring which Cherri claimed as her turf. They were locked in countless turf wars with an Overlord, Valentino, Kingpin Sir Pentious, and the Pentagram City Police Department.

The Resistance was eventually seized by The Insurgency with the surviving members being held as prisoners and hostages by the organization's leader, Izzi, Cherri Bomb's father.

Description[]

The Resistance were a rebel group of sinners who committed various attacks on the Pride Ring's authority figures, this included sabotaging drug deals organized by Overlords, vandalizing or outright destroying businesses owned by Valentino, and starting turf wars to take over territory belonging to tyrants. The Resistance also had a vigilante streak, often liberating those oppressed by criminals, such as putting an end to a sex trafficking ring in the Pride Ring. Their anti-heroic acts had led to the downtrodden of Hell to view them as heroes.

The Resistance were based in a town claimed by Cherri Bomb, where they all lived and partook in various activities such as rave parties and listening to loud music. Though they may have fought and argued, the Resistance functioned like a tight-knit, rowdy family where most of the members were very loyal to each other and especially to their leader.

Their goal was to ultimately end the corrupt reign of Hell's authoritarian figures, which made them very similar to another rebel group, the Insurgency, though the Resistance were far more heroic and ethic while the Insurgency's end goals and methods were far more extreme.
